Welcome to the International Marimba Competition. Please read the following information carefully before applying.
Venue
Final Round:
Linping Grand Theatre (100 meters south of the intersection of Wangmei Road and Tinglan Street)
Open to musicians of all ages.
Required Documents
Candidates are requested to complete the Application- and Repertoire-Form and upload following documents:
- Copy of passport
- Photo (portrait)
- Short curriculum vitae
- Pre-Selection Video (separate upload link March 1-7)
⚠️ Application is only completed when all documents are uploaded.
Pre-Selection Video Requirements
On the Pre-Selection Video - camcorder or mobile phone quality is sufficient - candidates are asked to perform two works for Marimba Solo of their own choice.No cuts/editing within a piece allowed.

Fees
After receiving the confirmation for participation, candidates shall transfer the participation fee to the Competition Account before May 1, 2025. Bank account details and further information will be announced in the letter of confirmation.
